Project Info
Higher education leadership academy (AKEPT), established in January 2008, is an organization under the Ministry of Higher Education created in line with the objectives of the National Higher Education Strategic Plan to transform higher education in Malaysia, especially in the area of human capital development. AKEPT was conceptualized by the Ministry of Higher Education to provide leadership development for the top and mid level management of Malaysian Higher Education Institutions.
THE DESIGN AIMS
The proposed design and built institutional building to facilitate scholar and educators of higher education throughout Malaysia. With strong design concept, gasing portray a center orientation for the other elements that equalize balance and importance of education in the community. The vernacular interpretation of gasing also impersonate identity of local architecture.
